Tips, before you get started.

  • Use a steel tape measure: 
    A metal tape measure is essential to prevent stretching and ensure accuracy

  • Record in millimetres: 
    Provide all measurements in millimetres (mm), not centimetres or inches

  • Measure multiple times: 
    Measure once, then measure again to confirm your measurements

Open the awning all the way out so the fabric is fully visible.

  • Use a measuring tape to measure the fabric from edge to edge, left to right.

If the fabric is too damaged to measure, measure the bottom bar instead.

  • Measure from the top of the pelmet box down to the bottom bracket.

  • Record the width first, then the drop.
